Description

Fouesnant Cider 750ml is the heir to authentic know-how and a long family tradition. Made from orchards located in Pays Fousnantais, this cider is a blend of old varieties and harvested by hand. The apples are sorted manually and the pressing is done when the fruits are fully ripe, from the end of September to December. The fermentation of this cider is slow and it ends with natural fermentation in the bottle for about 2 and a half months, which gives it a fine and digestible bubble Recognised for its bitterness, roundness and persistent aromas of fresh apple, fresh butter and hazelnut. Made from 100% Apple juice fermented. We recommend drinking the Fouenant Cider as an aperitif.

Each one of our bottles is taste-tested and hand-chosen by some of the best palates in the southern hemisphere. Only once a bottle has been deemed crème de la crème, do we add it to our catalog. Finding the perfect bottle isn't always easy - but with us, it is.

Cider

Manoir du Kinkiz

Located in Brittany, Manoir du Kinkiz produces cider using entirely traditional methods. Apples are harvested by hand from the manor’s own orchards and pressed to make 100% pure juice. As required by French law, no additives are permitted apart from a minimal amount of sulphites under strict regulation.

This is a key distinction: in many other countries, cider may legally contain up to 45% added water, along with sugar, natural or synthetic flavorings, added alcohol, preservatives, and more.

Manoir du Kinkiz is especially renowned for its Cidre de Cornouaille, which holds one of the most recent AOC (Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée) designations in France. This cider is known for its rich orange color and intense bitter-sweet profile — characteristics closely tied to the terroir of French Cornwall (Cornouaille). Traces of this distinctive regional style can also be found in their other ciders, though to a lesser degree.
