Henri Bardouin Pastis is considered by many to be one of the finest exrpressions of Grand Cru Pastis produced in France today. Traditional and modern techniques see over 50 plants, herbs and spices, sourced mostly from Provence, combined and distilled to create a liqueur of great complexity and balance. Best served with a good measure of chilled, filtered water (1 to 7 recommended) to create a refreshing, aromatic drink. Add grenadine for a "tomate", mint syrup for a "peroquet" and orgeat/ almond syrup for a "morresque".

Tasting Notes: The Pastis de Campagne is made from a fine eau-de-vie, according to the old ways of Provence winegrowers who preferred it for its part gourmand and fruity, cleaner flavor. Like them, Jean Boyer has added to his ‘country’ pastis a number of aromatic spices to give the freshness and aromas that one should expect from a pastis – and a sophisticated drink. During the months that the pastis spends maturing the aromas marry and the pastis clarifies naturally. Delicate aromas of vanilla, nutmeg, and marzipan abound in this delicious drink.

Jean Boyer is located in south west of France. The company started in 1994 to supply the 3 stars Michelin restaurants and indiependant cellars of the areas. Their Pastis Emeraude is elaborated on site according to an amazing process... the different plants macerations are rested in traditional vats for up to a year before being slowly married together. The results are stunning. To drink it in the traditional way: about 20ml of Pastis and 100ml of cold water with no or just a couple of ice cubes. Pastis elaborated by Jean Boyer with plants from Domain des Restanques in Provence. In this domain, we can find more than 1000 aromatic plants, with an exceptional quality. They are cultivating some plants (sage, wormwood, lemon verbena, rosemary, angelica, balm, coriander, mint variety ...) and gather other naturally growing (gentian, savory, thyme, thyme). They are then macerated "dyes" that result are assembled according to our recipe. After a long time of marriage and rest, we add the pure essence of anise from China. The resulting pastis is delicately bottled without filtration reducing or staining. The color of our pastis is the plant: it is natural. It is also very slightly sweet.

Pastis 1811 is a traditional pastis obtained by maceration and distillation (under controlled temperature) of various seeds and rigorously selected plants (wormwood, mugwort, gentian, licorice, star anise ...). Minimum aging of 9 months distillates, in bottles in the attic and assembly. Tasting notes: Nose: sweet note of liquorice, harmony of fragrances, no aggressiveness. Palate: 3-stroke - aniseed note, herbaceous / floral note, liquorice note, very harmonious sensation on the palate with elegance and subtlety.
