Paul Giraud Cognac Tres Rare 58 years 'Quadro Carafe' Grande Champagne 40% 700ml
$1,065.00
The penultimate stage of our journey through time and aromas, the spices of the Tres Rare are characteristic of a Grande Champagne at the top of its art: rich, powerful, intense and complex.
The first sensations reveal pepper and cloves. Then a meatier side with leather and Havana as well as the stone fruits of the Vieille Reserve, but much more confit and oxidized. All very melted, always with the characteristic length of Grande Champagne. A must for full-bodied cigar lovers.

Normandin-Mercier Cognac Tres Vieille 100 years+ (1880-1914) Grand Champagne 40% 700ml
$2,106.00
The average age of the cognacs in this extraordinary Grande Champagne assemblage is at least 70 years, the oldest dating to 1872 when the Normandin-Mercier house was first founded. What little remains of this original stock continue to age in very old oak, undisturbed. The combination is a truly outstanding cognac with profound aromas and a subtle, soft "rancio" in its perfectly balanced rich, long taste of incomparable smoothness. Its 40% alcoholic strength is achieved entirely naturally, with no requirement for dilution. The simplest of labels understates the quality of this cognac.
Tasting Notes:
Eye: copper-coloured mahogany with reddish copper-coloured reflections.
Nose: dominants fruity (candied fruits, dried fruits), empyreumatique (chocolate, burned (blown) out, smoked coffee(cafe)), rancio (Porto, wine storehouse of spirit), wooden (old barrel, limps in a cigar), spiced (cinnamon, vanilla, licorice, saffron). Notes: floral (pink)((rose)), vegetable (tobacco, lime tree), sweetened (honey).
Palate: ample, powerful, aromatic. Fruity (dried fruits), rancio, empyreumatique, spiced (vanilla), wooden, very long.
Roger Groult Calvados Pays D'Auge RŽserve Ancestrale 40% 700ml
$1,045.00
The culmination of several generation's works, Réserve Ancestrale beautifully expresses the full ageing cycle of Calvados Groult. Matured and blended in the casks that belonged to Pierre Groult (1830-1918), combining softness and subtlety with concentration and intensity. This exceptional Calvados is the oldest Eaux-de-vie of the domain.
Jean Fillioux Grande Champagne Cognac 1964 44% 500ml
$1,091.00
This 1964 vintage from the Grande Champagne terroir is the fruit of the work of several generations, of a lifetime.
Several decades were necessary to polish such a jewel. First in casks, then in dame-Jeanne, the eaux-de-vie of this cognac has remained hidden in the darkness of the cellar.
Tasting Notes:
The nose is powerful, and voluptuous, marked by aromas of Catalan cream, ripe stone fruit, beeswax and licorice.
On the palate, there is a remarkably melted woody taste, of a bewitching complexity. Then this explosion of flavours: vanilla, fresh tobacco, exotic fruits and candied fruits. The whole is sublimated by an elegant rancio and an incredibly persistent saffron finish.
It is necessary to take time, each sip inspires a new emotion…
Delord 1952 Bas Armagnac 40% 700ml
$1,468.00

Savour this strong and fiery mouth, with its flavours of vanilla and liquorice. Notice again the flavours that linger in the mouth after you swallow this liqueur.
Grosperrin Cognac No.28 Borderies 53.8% 700ml
$1,226.00
This very old Cognac was bought from the widow, almost a hundred years old, of a man who died several years ago. Since then, the Eaux-de-vie have belonged to the family, made up of his widow and several children.
This family of winegrowers has been based in the village of Burie since 1930, in the very heart of the Borderies. It was on this date that the father of the deceased bought the property with his stocks.
The property is now managed by his grandson, who operates around thirty hectares on two small properties, renowned for the high quality of their Eaux-de-vie.
It is an extremely rare lot, which could have belonged to the range of Treasures, if it had not aged in such a dry cellar, which gave it great distinction and a lot of charm but maintained the degree at a still high level, reserving it for lovers of powerful spirits. It is presented with cask strength.
Tasting Notes:
Amber colour, old gold reflections. On the nose, a lot of elegance with spicy notes (turmeric, candied ginger), and an impressive freshness for such an old Cognac. The upright is straight and clean, yet rich and dense. The rancios are discreet and delicate. On the palate, the attack is oily, powerful without stinging or burning, and very straightforward. Candied fruit comes first, followed by candied ginger, all carried away by an elegant and remarkable rancio. The final never ends.
Habitation St Etienne Rum 2003 Single Cask 47.8% 500ml

MASTER TASTERS NOTE
The nose opens up to an explosion of aromas where the empyreumatic notes of cacao, coffee and Virginia tobacco blend with a fruity universe of prunes, quinces and cooked fruit. The round, generous mouth offers a gentle, elegant attack before extending into a long, fruity and delicately spiced finish.
