A rich, full of rancio, grape-to-bottle Cognac. The XO Gold is called as such because it only received gold medals in every single competition it entered. Minimum 20 years old, all the way to 30 years old. This cognac provides access to a single vineyard, quality “XO”, very different from the blends of the bigger brands. A very special drink to keep the night going with family and friends. Tasting Notes: Nose: Down among the flowers: touches of jasmine, clove, combined with peach and plums. The old maturation of this Cognac has given it its vanilla aroma and this light and sweet aroma that only an old Cognac has. Palate: The outstanding point is probably the great elegance which is one of the major characteristics of the Premier Cru Grande Champagne, fully represented here by the delicacy of aromas as well as the subtlety of its palate.

First Vineyard of Cognac.Full and soft spirit although having preserved a certain ardour thanks to its ageing in red barrels (trunks). Tasting Notes: Eye: Amber highlights. Nose: A fruity dominance, with nutty almonds, dried fruit, canned fruit and citrus fruit. Spices include cinnamon and vanilla and there are notes of honey, toffee, rancio notes, chocolate, dried grass and tobacco. Palate: Full and round, dried fruit, spices, woody - a long finish.

Colour: Light amber Bas-Armagnac with old copper reflections. Nose: Rich, full, fruity, notes of blond tobacco, citrus and liquorice. Mouth: Supple attack, balanced, melted tannins. We find a note of citrus and spice. Beautiful persistence in the mouth which leaves a feeling of roundness and softness.

We have selected this 'Grande Champagne' Premier Cru of 1992 to celebrate the 140th anniversary of Normandin Mercier business, founded in 1872. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it has been aged in authentic casks, made by the best Cognac coopers; using hundred-year-old oak trees from the estate ‘La Péraudière’ which were chosen in 1989 for the exceptional subtlety of their grain. The staves were left to dry in the open-air for three whole years, and from these wonderful casks, ‘La Péraudière’ cognac was born. Limited series of 1000 bottles.

Jean Fillioux, a semi artisan producer of cognacs from the very special Golden Triangle of the Grande Champagne region, itself the very best origin for cognacs, is listed in the 10 top trending brands by Drinks International. It should not be regarded as a magnificent achievement since the rest of the group is mostly the usual suspects, the well known very “commercial “ brands. However, it is proof that small artisan producers are being noticed for their superior quality, by even,  the large mass of non-connoisseurs more attuned to the Big Houses of Cognac. To celebrate, Jean Fillioux has reserved for Cerbaco a barrel of their 1992 vintage just bottled as a Special Cerbaco Label. Vintage cognacs are as rare as hen’s teeth, even more so from the best part of Grand Champagne, and 1992, freshly bottled, perfectly proves the superiority and individuality of artisan production. Harvested and distilled in 1992, this Cognac was matured in a French recent loose grain oak cask, in a cool damp cellar. Tasting Notes: Nose: Fresh and floral on the nose with citrus fruit, syrupy apples and refined orchid tones. Palate: Round and complex palate with beeswax, ripe plum, candied orange and chocolate. Finish: Long and lively finish with persistent aromas of baked pastry, light spices, and cherry.

After slowly maturing in oak barrels for at least 20 years, this Calvados has a magnificent amber coloring. The taste of this grand liquor at the right temperature will let it release all its aromas and seduce you.  This is our best-in-Class! (Serve around 20 ° C)

Paul Giraud Vieille Reserve is a XO Cognac from the Grande Champagne region. Aged for about 25 years. A hidden champion, and very good value for money. Paul Giraud Vieille Reserve is a very round Cognac, mellow. The rancio is typical for a cognac that has been ageing for arond 25 years in average. Lots of fruits, and a great, long after taste.

Citrus, orange and chocolate vie for position on the nose. All repeats in the mouth with further layers of flavour coming from chocolate, cooked fruit and caramel. Smooth flow and fine texture. There are orange and vanilla notes in the finish.

A special edition Armagnac that far exceeds the required age for an XO. The brandies used for the Delord XO Premium are aged between 25 and 40 years and unlike the other bottlings from Delord, this comes packaged with a metallic label and black wooden box. Tasting Notes: Nose: Rich and strong. Delicious aromas of orange flower, dried apricots, candied citrus and soft spice, such as star anise and cinnamon. Palate: Full with a tantalising touch of pepper, followed by a refreshing bittersweet note. An Armagnac that combines strength and indulgence.
