Barbagaya is Compagnie des Indes’ third small batch after the Dominidad and Veneragua. It results from a blend of 2 casks: one from Barbados from the Foursquare distillery, and the other from Guyana from the Diamond distillery. Both were distilled in April 2007 and aged just under 40% in Europe. The blending took place in April 2021 in our warehouse.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: At first honeyed aroma emerges from the glass, then aromas of prunes and currants. It evolves into pine sap, iodine, and candied orange.
Mouth: A franc, woody, and roasted attack. Followed then by iced chestnut and English fudge notes, but also a touch of sweet chilli, mixed with lemongrass.
Finish: It’s deliciously indulgent, with the impression of biting into a pancake spread.

Widow Jane 10 years old is a blend of whiskeys from Kentucky, Tennesse and Indiana, assembled in Brooklyn using water from the "Widow Jane Limestone Mine" in Rosendale, New York, which is even richer in minerals than the pure waters of Kentucky. Bottled at 45.5%, it does make a beautiful Bourbon!

NOSE: reminiscent of maple kissed breakfast pancakes with a side of bacon.

A few former calvados casks of 225 liters have been selected to age a base of Le Gin de Christian Drouin. After 6 months in the casks, "Le Gin de Christian Drouin calvados cask finish" is rounder, more complex, with even more obvious apple flavors.

This HSE very old VSOP rum is aged in Bourbon oak casks and in French oak casks on the beautiful plantation Saint – Etienne in Gros-Morne, Central Martinique. This process confers this exceptional rum a Creole flavor and a spicy, aromatic palate.
The nose is rich with candied fruit: apricot, peach, cantaloupe, followed by notes of grilled almonds and caramel with buttered coffee and clove. The taste is superb and enhances the nose: a broad, warm attack, admirably envelopes the palate.
Its mellow nature and viscosity accentuate the lasting taste of this very old rum.

The name Heritage means legacy, tradition and family pride. This is what Cachaça Germana means to the Caetano Family. Germana Heritage is aged for 8 year in French oak barrels and for 2 years in barrels of Brazilian balsam. The result is a dark amber colour, a symphony of Cachaça and wood with very special notes of fruits. The exquisite care resulted in the inheritance of knowledge of distillation and ageing of this cachaça.
Recommended serve: best sipped neat on the rocks with the green part of a lime zest.
Fun Fact: To protect the bottles during travel, Sergio would wrap them with banana straw - fruit typical of the region, to prevent them from breaking during their long trips on horseback, as well as to protect them from sunlight.

The prominent characteristic of Germana’s Caetanos Cachaça is its fruity flavour, slightly sweet thanks to cerejeira, also known as cherry tree used to make the Umburana barrels. This is achieved by ageing for two years in Umburana barrels. During ageing of this type of wood, the Cachaça receives a beautiful light yellowish colour and a rounded sweet taste. Ideal for lovers of a Cachaça aged in the most traditional Brazilian wood.
