Definition: Old rum with a three-stage ageing process Alcohol content: 40% abv Production: After ageing for five years in the Caribbean and for a further three in the facilities of Bodegas Williams & Humbert in the wood of Dos Cortados (palo cortado), at this point “Dos Maderas 5+3” then enters a third and final stage of ageing in casks which have previously been used to mature Don Guido sherry (Pedro Ximénez) for over 20 years, to become the extraordinary Dos Maderas P.X. Both Don Guido and Dos Cortados have been aged for 20 years as certified by the oldest Denomination of Origin in Spain: Jerez-Xérès-Sherry. Tasting notes: The final stage of ageing in Pedro Ximénez casks bestows a dark amber colour with delicate notes of raisin, fig and vanilla. Suggestions for consumption: Given the high quality of the product we recommend serving in a balloon glass either neat or on the rocks. Connoisseurs may wish to enjoy it combined with aromatic mixers, fizzy or not.

Alcohol content: 40% Alc. / Vol. Production: Dos Maderas LUXUS, as with "Dos Maderas 5 + 3" and "Dos Maderas PX 5 +5 ", is a noble blend of soft and intense rum from Barbados and Guyana. Dos Maderas LUXUS is matured for 10 years at its place of origin in the Caribbean, before being transferred to the Spanish Sherry house of Williams & Humbert. There it matures for a further 5 years using the Solera system method in American oak casks which have previously contained the internationally renowned DON GUIDO, a Pedro Ximénez Sherry with extraordinary aromas and flavours, which is certified by the Sherry Regulatory Board as having an age rating of over 20 years.

Definition: Double-aged old rum. Alcohol content: 37.5 % Alc. /Vol. Production: This rum is first aged for 5 years in American oak casks at its place of origin in the Caribbean (Guyana and Barbados). Then it is shipped to Williams & Humbert’s installations in Jerez (Spain), where the rum is aged for another 3 years in casks that have previously held the internationally renowned Dos Cortados palo cortado sherry (aged for 20 years, as certified by the Jerez-Xérès-Sherry Regulatory Council). Tasting notes: This two-stage process produces old rum of unique characteristics, with a matchless bouquet and flavour. It is exceptionally smooth. Suggestions for consumption: Excellent in a balloon glass either neat or on ice. Superb in elegant mixed drinks and cocktails.

Definition: Triple Aged Rum Alcohol content: 42% Alc. / Vol. Production: This unique blend, prepared at ‘cask strength’ of 42º alcohol, gives fine, distinguished aromas of an old classic rum with distinct notes of sherry oak and sweet Pedro Ximenez Sherry so distinctive of Dos Maderas 5+5 PX. Tasting notes: To the palate the 10 years old rum gives a first sensation of an old rounded dry rum, then the subtle notes of smoothness and sweetness from the old casks of Pedro Ximenez begin to linger, leaving a very pleasant medium sweet aftertaste.
