Navy Strength Blend of 4 Distilleries Compagnie Des Indes. Deep gold. Opens with powerful aromas of creamy soda, fried banana, dried mango, fruit bread and white pepper. Second pass finds raw sugar, hints of white chocolate and banana cake added to the mix. Concentrated yet remarkably smooth and poised given the ABV; gentle bittersweetness at midpalate with banana peel, fruit loaf, white pepper, grassy/pineapple freshness and warming sweet spices lingering at length. Complex and never too sweet.
