Château Arton

Château Arton is a family-run vineyard producing wines and Armagnacs in the exclusive Haut-Armagnac appellation. An agricultural treasure and recipient of the Prix d’Excellence en Armagnac, it embodies the renaissance of this confidential terroir initiated by the Montal-Montesquiou family in Lectoure in 1991.

Cultivated by the second generation of this daring family, descendants of the famous musketeer d’Artagnan, the 88-hectare estate now owns the majority of the vines in the Haut-Armagnac AOC dedicated to Armagnac production. The entire vineyard has been certified organic since 2024, and is currently undergoing conversion to biodynamic viticulture.
