Maurin Quina Le Puy Aperitif 16% 1000ml

Lauriston Pommeau de Normandie Christian Drouin 17% 700ml | Brandy | Shop online at Spirits of France
Lauriston Pommeau de Normandie Christian Drouin 17% 700ml
$55.00
Lauriston Pommeau de Normandie Christian Drouin 17% 700ml: Pommeau is obtained by blending Calvados with cider-apple juice. The cider-apple juice (the must) is mixed before fermentation with Calvados in the proportion 3/4 must to 1/4 Calvados of 65°. The essential mellowness is the result of ageing in oak casks. This aperitif full of flavor has a strength of 16° to 18°. It should be served chilled in a tulip glass. It is perfect in a scooped-out melon, with foie gras or with an apple dessert ; much appreciated for the confection of cocktails, it also works wonders in the kitchen as an ingredient in sauces and creams.   "The Pommeau de Normandie "Coeur de Lion" is exuberantly fruity, slips down the throat far too easily given its 17% alcohol content, and once in the mouth, its freshness as well as its aroma of baked apples and buttery brown sugar are quite fascinating".   Awards: Robert M. Parker gave Pommeau de Normandie "Coeur de Lion" a 92/Very Highly Médaille d'Argent, Concours Général Agricole de Paris 2014 Médaille d'Argent, Challenge to the Best French Wine & Spirits Competition Hong Kong 2014 Médaille d'Argent, Concours Général Agricole de Paris 2012 Médaille d'Argent, Challenge to the Best French Wine & Spirits Competition Hong Kong 2012     For more Comte Louis de Lauriston, CLICK HERE
Distillerie et Domaines de Provence 'Orange Colombo' (Orange) Aperitif 15% 750ml | Liqueurs | Shop online at Spirits of France
Distillerie et Domaines de Provence 'Orange Colombo' (Orange) Aperitif 15% 750ml
$53.00
An infusion of sweet and bitter oranges, lubéron rosé wine, quinquina infusion, curaçao spirit, natural orange flavouring, cane sugar and alcohol. It’s a clever infusion of all these ingredients which gives Orange Colombo its unique flavour. Tasting Notes: Colour: The colour of Orange Colombo depends greatly on that of the rosé wine from which it is made. Its appearance may go from an orange-pink to a light raspberry tint. Nose: On the nose, the first notes are more on the orange rind, with a fruitier note of mandarin. The spicy aromas of mulled wine are also found. Palate: The tastes on the palate are shared between the fruity orange flavour and a more vegetal zest note. The balance between the sugar content and acidity make Orange Colombo a very refreshing aperitif. Its taste lingering on the orange zest is strengthened by the bitterness in the final note. The perfect aperitif for those who love drinks with bitter or spicy flavours. Orange Colombo also goes very well with all dark chocolate cakes.

Francois Voyer XO Gold 20-30 years Grande Champagne Cognac Carafe 40% 700ml

The old maturation of this Cognac has given it its vanilla aroma and this light and sweet aroma that only an old Cognac has. Palate: The outstanding point is probably the great elegance which is one of the major characteristics of the Premier Cru Grande Champagne, fully represented here by the delicacy of aromas as well as the subtlety of its palate.

Nosferatu Ginner pack 4x200ml | Gin | Shop online at Spirits of France
Nosferatu Ginner pack 4x200ml
$115.00
The Ultimate Ginner Party Pack! Featuring four amazing Gins, which will take you on a gin journey you'll never forget! Mandrake: The mandrake tale takes its cues from folklore and cinema. Harry Potter fans will be familiar with the repotting of the Mandrake seedlings scene in the Chamber of Secrets. The cries are not yet fatal, but capable of ‘knocking you out for a few hours’. Taking inspiration from this tale, steeped in mystery and legend, our small batch Mandrake Cucumber & Mint Gin melds Albanian juniper with cucumber, mint, coriander seed and liquorice root. We have taken all the bad stuff out and left the good stuff in. Born of the forest and distilled with a unique blend of botanicals, including a tiny non-lethal dose of mandrake root. Try if you dare!   Nosferatu: Inspired by a love of arthouse cinema, Nosferatu Blood Orange Gin takes it cues from the black and white cult classic, Nosferatu. The Gin is lovingly distilled, under the cloak of darkness, in 'The Schreck', a coffin-shaped pot still (believe that if you will) in a dusty old South Melbourne cellar. With its distinctive red hue, this Gin is delicate, yet packs a punch with botanicals such as Albanian juniper berries, blood orange peel, fresh navel oranges, dried orange peel, roasted fenugreek, coriander seeds, cardamom seeds, wormwood and angelica root. A true cult classic. You know you want it. As with all classics, treat it with respect.  Fill a Copa de Balon with the best ice you can find, add a generous nip of Nosferatu Blood Orange Gin, top up with a quality tonic and finish off with a sliver of blood orange. Cheers. Bunyip: Bunyip Sticky Gin - A unique gin distilled with the best quality juniper, lemons and lemon peel, coriander, cardamom, grains of paradise, wormwood and liquorice root and then comes the cool and unique part – its blended back with unfermented Pinot Gris grape juice form Mornington Peninsula. Bunyip is a modern interpretation of the French classic called a ‘Mistelle’. Like a gin version of a Pineau de Charentes or a Sticky Wine its delicious with cheese.   Standard G&T – serve with a wedge of lime and a Mediterranean tonic   Giselle: TASTE NOTES: Nosferatu Blood Orange Gin is the basis of the Giselle. Using a three stage Orange infusion and distillation process.  Including our unique use of Fenugreek. Post distillation we use all natural flavours to make a gin that tastes like Pavlova, but just the Pavlova base without the fruit on top.  Giselle Pavlova Gin has a delicious creamy, vanilla-y and meringue-y flavour with a toffee/burnt crust finish. Albanian juniper is the basis once again and it’s a gin – but like no other! MIXING: Try Giselle Pavlova Gin straight or with a light tonic and a fresh strawberry to garnish. Or if you’re brave – just replace the tonic with soda water. Like all Pavlovas, its up to you to choose the best fruit to garnish Giselle.
