Description

Hand selected plants and herbs from the virgin forests of our homeland; medicinal wormwood, fragant bay leaves, rosemary, thyme, lemony verbena together with green peppers from Padron, a gastronomic treasure with its own appellation. A sweet acidic under taste formed by bitter and sweet oranges, orange blossoms and the pulp of green lemons. What it Looks Like. Pale yellow with subtle green highlights. What it Smells Like. Morning fresh citrusy and herby notes surrounded by elegant botanical accents and the perfume of white flowers. What it Tastes Like. At first a strong acidity, quickly followes by a soft, sensual appeal.

St. Petroni was born with a clear objective: to revolutionise vermouth with authentic Galician character.

Vermutería de Galicia was founded in 2014 by five wine and spirits enthusiasts in Padrón, at the heart of the Ulla valley in Galicia. Their vision was to revive a vermouth with true Galician character. The base is Albariño wine aged on lees, grown in their own historic vineyard, Pazo de Arretén, within the Rías Baixas appellation.

The wine is then macerated with 29 botanicals, many sourced locally — herbs, citrus peels, laurel, mint, and even Padrón peppers in the white expression. This blend of terroir and tradition gives their vermouth its distinctive depth and aromatic complexity.

Their flagship brand, St. Petroni, has become a celebrated Galician vermouth, uniting authenticity, innovation, and craftsmanship.
