Germana is a handmadeÊartisanal BrazilianÊspiritÊmade in the state of Minas Gerais. Produced from unrefined sugar cane juice andÊa littleÊcorn flour, itÊis regarded as one of the best quality Cachaas (pronounced Òka-shah-saÓ) in this world.ÊIt is produced from estate-grown sugarcane cut by hand using machetes and immediately transported to the distillery where it is processed through theÊone andÊonly electrical machine to extract the juice. Fermentation is dependent on the weather as it is a natural process withÊnaturalÊyeasts madeÊfromÊmaize planted at theÊfazendaÊ(Farm)Êand can take between 18 to 24 hours. The Òsugarcane wineÓ is then distilled in a copper still. At Germana, Cachaa is a way of life, a passion. Attention to detail is paramountÊand they are very proud also of their aged cachaas which can proudly belong to the category of Ò Complex Matured Spirits Ò such as Cognac, Armagnac Whisky, Calvados, Rum Agricole etc.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Most orders will arrive in 5 business days or less using Australia Post. In busier periods, or for deliveries sent to regional areas, up to 10 business days is not unexpected.
