It all began in 2015 when two mates from Adelaide hatched a crazy plan to start a gin distillery. One had a history in the food & beverage industry, the other Ð a graphic designer Ð passionate about creating brands. From humble beginnings in an inner-suburbs back yard garage to becoming an Adelaide institution, the Prohibition brand soon became a success. Prohibition opened the doors to their city Distillery in 2017, featuring a beautiful 900L Copper Pot Still, ÔMaryÕ. A few years later the venue expanded with the opening of Bootleg Coffee Co and Next Door cocktail bar.
