This Premium Amber Bielle rum has benefited from a double distillation, one in the column, the other instils. This particularity gives it a remarkable roundness and fullness. It is therefore not an amber rum like the others, as you can verify by tasting this nectar made at the famous distillery of Marie-Galante .
Its aging took place in two stages: first in oak barrels, for a year, then in oak casks until bottling. This contact with wood has given it its beautiful amber colour. Entracte, a dry sparkling white wine, is a blend of Chenin and Chardonnay. The fine bubbles are naturally issued from the second fermentation in closed tanks (based on the Charmat method) without the addition of CO2. The wine is then matured on lees for 6 months.
Entracte is “brut nature”, “zero dosage”, without expedition liqueur (no additional sugar, it is completely dry).
Similar to the Classic, the alcohol level is only at 10,5%, which makes it quite a light wine.
Entracte is full of freshness and wriggles your taste buds.

We distill our distinct small-batch handmade gin using Huon Valley apples to form our uniquely crafted Eau de vie. 17 botanicals, both contemporary Tasmanian and traditional are added including Sweet-scented Kunzea, hand-harvested Kombu, Tasmanian Pepper Berries, and Leatherwood Honey, Juniper, Coriander, Orris, Angelica, and Blood Orange. The water that we use comes from a lake of snowmelt at Mount Field National Park that feeds directly down to our distillery.
Taylor and Smith Gin is evenly balanced, complex and aromatic making for a lovely Dry Martini or Gin & Tonic with cucumber.
Additional serving suggestion:
Pomegranate and Strawberry Collins
2 tsp pomegranate jewels
3 strawberries
60 ml lemon juice
20 ml sugar syrup (vanilla if possible)
45 ml Taylor & Smith Gin
Soda to top
Muddle 1 tsp of pomegranate jewels and the strawberries in a Boston glass or tin. Add lemon juice, sugar syrup, and gin. Shake with ice. Strain into a highball glass with ice. Top with soda and drop the second tsp of pomegranate jewels into the glass. Garnish with a strawberry fan.
