Delord 1984 Bas Armagnac 40% 700ml
$167.00
Situated in Bas-Armagnac, Delord's distillery is to be found in the village of Lannepax, the ancestral home of the Delord family. They comment, "Our old Sier Armagnac alambics, that we wouldn't part with for all the gold in the world, produce less than 30 litres of eau-de-vie an hour. Our cellars contain our old treasured vintages and include more than 700 oak barrels that protect and age the Armagnac eau-de-vie dating from the 20th Century to the present day".
Produced from Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche, Colombard and Baco 22 A grapes.
Tasting note: Lovely gold ochre / bright copper appearance. Muted opening sniff yields a subtle fragrance of nougat and sweet spice. Further aeration stimulates notes of candied orange peel, vanilla and dilute maple syrup. A soft, round entry follows through to light to medium-bodied profile offering suggestions of light toffee, dried fruits and white pepper towards the finish which is dry and brimming with oak. Pulls up short. 40% Alc./Vol.

Jean Fillioux 1992 Cognac Grande Champagne 43% 700ml
$235.00
Jean Fillioux, a semi artisan producer of cognacs from the very special Golden Triangle of the Grande Champagne region, itself the very best origin for cognacs, is listed in the 10 top trending brands by Drinks International.
It should not be regarded as a magnificent achievement since the rest of the group is mostly the usual suspects, the well known very “commercial “ brands. However, it is proof that small artisan producers are being noticed for their superior quality, by even, the large mass of non-connoisseurs more attuned to the Big Houses of Cognac.
To celebrate, Jean Fillioux has reserved for Cerbaco a barrel of their 1992 vintage just bottled as a Special Cerbaco Label. Vintage cognacs are as rare as hen’s teeth, even more so from the best part of Grand Champagne, and 1992, freshly bottled, perfectly proves the superiority and individuality of artisan production.
Harvested and distilled in 1992, this Cognac was matured in a French recent loose grain oak cask, in a cool damp cellar.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Fresh and floral on the nose with citrus fruit, syrupy apples and refined orchid tones.
Palate: Round and complex palate with beeswax, ripe plum, candied orange and chocolate.
Finish: Long and lively finish with persistent aromas of baked pastry, light spices, and cherry.

Darroze Grand Bas Armagnac Ugni Blanche 49% 700ml
$123.00
In Gascony, this grape is both used in distillation (over 50% of the distillation) and in the making of Cotes de Gascogne wines. It often brings balance and finesse. The nose is straightforward, moderately intense, smooth and very delicate, with typical aromas (grape, plum, quince) and more surprising ones (fresh cane, cane sugar). This Blanche is dry, without sweetness, silky and still very delicate. Beautiful aromas of bitter almond, vine flower and raisin reinforce this finesse. Very long on the palate. May be enjoyed on its own or as a long drink with combinations like cucumber, elderflower or orgeat syrup.
