Description

Our rums exemplify the pursuit of excellence and authenticity. Generally made from molasses, they are very lightly sweetened and fully express their rich flavor and the flavor of local character. They come from batches of fewer than four barrels and are unfiltered to preserve the richness of this expressive alcohol. They may therefore sometimes exhibit a slight opalescence.

Rum Bullion is the old name for rum, which could mean "sugar cane broth" in the French islands.

To release the aromas, rinse your glass with fresh water and empty it before pouring this great alcohol.

Tasting notes

Eye: Mahogany.

Nose: Nougat, butterscotch, and especially dark chocolate and mocha coffee.

Palate: Warm with licorice and black olive. There are spices (cinnamon and anise) and roasted nuts. And suddenly, the mocha coffee comes back full force with plum juice and an old rancio. Finish: quite long with still the mocha coffee and licorice. Notes of old Armagnac.
