Melbourne Gin Company Single Shot 47.4% 700ml Fascinated as we are with the actual crafting of products, it made sense to explore sense to explore different techniques for making Gin. Very early on we knew that this would unlock the key for any new MGC gin. It took 5 years of distillation to get it right in just one single shot. It is a very simple idea, to distill all the botanical together in a single shot rather than the winemaking approach for the Dry Gin. Simple but Complicated. We have spent the last 5 years conducting trails perfecting our techniques and playing with different botanical's. We wanted a Single Shot to taste the Juniper, We wanted it to taste different to our Dry Gin, We wanted it to taste amazing. We sought intensity, texture and persistence of flavor, and now, we think we have achieved these goals. International awards include:

About The Producer

From the WorldÕs most liveable city comes its very own Melbourne Dry Gin. A classic gin with a twist of Melbourne, The Melbourne Gin Company is hand crafted, batch distilled and non chill filtered.

Eleven botanicals, both local and exotic, are each individually extracted, distilled and then blended to create a well-rounded, smooth and slightly surprising gin.

Building on the classic foundations of juniper berries and coriander seed, the grapefruit peel and Rosemary hail from the garden at Gembrook Hill Vineyard in the Yarra Valley, where the gin is made.

The other locals are macadamia, sandalwood, honey lemon myrtle and organic navel orange.

Bringing MelbourneÕs cosmopolitan flavour to the mix are the exotics: angelica root, orris root and cassia bark.

The final component is water Ð rainwater from Gembrook in the Yarra Ranges, 60km from Melbourne, with a purity that allows the botanicals to shine through.
