Calle 23 Angels, is a 10-year-old Calvados Pays d'Auge which we have finished aging in two old Calle 23 Tequila casks. These casks had previously contained Tequilas from the Los Altos region produced from Tequilana Weber agaves.
In the search for a perfect balance between agave and apple, Calle 23 Angels are the blend of finishing in Calle 23 casks in the first filling of 13 months, and the second filling of these casks with a 4-month maturation.

Mars Angels are made of 13 years old Pays d'Auge calvados which was finished during 8 months in 3 former casks from the very exclusive Mars Distillery in Japan.
The tree casks were previously used for aging Mars single Malt Komagatake.
The 3 casks being made of american oak, this Pays d'Auge calvados was re-qualified as an Eau de Vie de Cidre to conform with the Pays d'Auge appellation rules. The Eau de vie was bottled at 43%.vol. The nose offers a great balance between fresh apples and barley, hints a pear and peach. Mars Angels is a very delicate spirit, with an elegant mouth.

Thanks to numerous sales trip to the US, Gilles also discovers another passion for Bourbons. Main compenent in Bourbon is corn (mini 51% for bourbon), Gilles prefers Bourbons with an higher Rye content. He has acquired several barrels with different content of rye to make his own blend, another Champagne Twist.
Bourbon has to be aged in new barrels for the 1st 3 years of its life in the US.

The Ten Cane distillery was created by LVMH to produce pure cane juice pot still rum for the US market. The brand never really found its audience, the multinational decided to tear down the distillery only a few years after its grand opening. Its name, Ten Cane, comes from the idea that it takes 10 sugar canes to make a bottle of rum.
